Quality Assurance

Incoming material

It is our principle to stay alert to avoid any defects and take serious care with our customers' quality requirement.  On top of the verification process of material physical properties at our lab.  We launch a series of measures to inspect our incoming materials.

Fabric winding machine to measure fabric yardage and spot potential cosmetic defects

Table scanner to measure leather size and check leather quality

The steam machine smoothens textile and assure stability during production

Thickness scale to determine the received materials are based on requirement.

Electronic weight scale to ensure the received trims and accessories are according to purchase

In-line inspection

We accept no defects running in lines.  Prior to sewing, every piece of pre-production sample must be reviewed and approved by product team, merchandising team, QA team and production team.  All comments and needed improvements are recorded in ERP and will be examined again to compare with TOP samples from lines.  Again, this production sample will be by all the four parties.  During production our line QC staff carry out 100% inspection.

In production QC assures the matching between cut pieces and patterns prior to stitching.  100% check is carried out.

In production QC carries out 100% inspection on logo applications on cut pieces.

In production QC implements 100% checks on three critical points: linings laminated with insulation, palm stitched with backhand and entire shell stitched with lining.

Glue spray machine to secure gluing consistence on finger tips of insert.

Pulling lining to determine the attachment of insert and finger tips of liner.

Leakage tester to observe potential insert damage.

Attentive needle detecting inspection is performed to observe potential broken needles

Extra needle detecting inspection is carried out during packaging.

100% inspection on finished gloves to prevent defective gloves from moving to packaging

Two rounds of ironing are carried out in production: before closing the glove and before package.

FQC staff are checking packed products quality according to AQL.

Laboratory

In spite of our routine procedure such as IQC, IPQC and FQC.  We also incorporate our lab facilities to verify in the first place physical properties of newly developed materials, incoming materials, half finished products and finished products.

Tensile strength tester to observe material tearing resistance

Spray tester to evaluate WR level of fabrics

Abrasion tester to monitor material durability against rubbing.

Light box to inspect visually fabrics’ colour shade

Bursting tester to evaluate the strength of palm materials where impact resistance is crucial

Washing machines to determine washability of pieces with logo applications, fabrics and finished products.

Crock Meter to test colour fastness of fabrics and leather

OKEO-TEX 100

Youngtech carries out extensive testing under Okeotex 100 criteria to inspect material quality and to guarantee non-toxic textiles for our customers. Over the last 25 years, we’ve been investing in average US$60,000 every year to monitor our material sourcing process and ensure our incoming materials meet Oeko-Tex 100 criteria.
